Lluís Gómez has assembled four master musicians, steeped in Spanish and Catalan culture, to help him bring his own traditional musical heritage to his bluegrass inspired banjo playing. The result is sometimes joyful, sometimes soulful, always delightful - and beautifully Spanish.

This is a magnificent album and a powerful statement. Four masters of their instruments, all steeped in their regional and national culture, have completely bought in to Lluís's vision and produced an album that is sometimes joyous, sometimes soulful, always delightful - and beautifully Spanish.

I love how Spanish banjo Picker Lluís Gómez incorporates his contemporary 3-finger seamlessly into this Flamenco-tinged material, on his latest recording.
